As part of the preliminary selection process for constables in the Vijayawada Commissionerate, 661 candidates ran the 5 km distance on Thursday to fulfil the requirement. Out of them, 472 candidates were selected to undergo the next round of test, a police press release said. The selection tests that began on January 18 would conclude on February 7.
